      Description

      Fully Welded 14-Gauge Steel Server Cabinets — 24RU to 48RU, Configurable Depth, 3,000 lb Load Capacity

      The Series 4000 is a fully welded, EIA-310-compliant server cabinet manufactured in Laval, Quebec from 14-gauge cold rolled steel. Nine standard configurations span 24RU to 48RU with depths from 36″ to 48″, and the platform supports a static load capacity of 3,000 lbs across every model. CSA-certified (C22.2 No. 70950-1) and designed to TIA-942 data center standards, the Series 4000 ships fully assembled with a 10-year structural warranty.

      Six door types, adjustable-depth 19″ cage-nut mounting rails, a universal accessory channel, and configurable top-cover ventilation allow the cabinet to adapt as rack density, airflow requirements, and cable management needs evolve without replacing the enclosure. Depths of 30″ and custom dimensions are available on request.

          The Series 4000 is a fully welded, EIA-310-compliant server cabinet manufactured in Laval, Quebec from 14-gauge cold rolled steel. Nine standard configurations span 24RU to 48RU with depths from 36″ to 48″, and the platform supports a static load capacity of 3,000 lbs across every model. CSA-certified (C22.2 No. 70950-1) and designed to TIA-942 data center standards, the Series 4000 ships fully assembled with a 10-year structural warranty.

          Six door types, adjustable-depth 19″ cage-nut mounting rails, a universal accessory channel, and configurable top-cover ventilation allow the cabinet to adapt as rack density, airflow requirements, and cable management needs evolve without replacing the enclosure.           FEATURE ENGINEERING DETAIL
          Fully Welded 14-Gauge Frame One-piece cold rolled steel frame with no bolt-together joints. Fully welded construction eliminates rack flex under load and maintains structural integrity through repeated equipment changes. Cabinet weights range from ~184 lbs (24RU) to ~357 lbs (48RU). 10-year structural warranty.
          19″ EIA-310 Mounting Rails (4) Two pairs of adjustable-depth cage-nut mounting rails (2.25″ wide) with RU markings and integrated cable pass-throughs. Front-to-rear depth adjustable to accommodate varying equipment depths. 50 cage nuts (10-32) shipped loose. 50 truss head screws shipped loose: 10-32 × 1/2″ on 24RU models, 10-32 × 5/8″ on 42–48RU models.
          Perforated Front Door Single-swing perforated steel door with lockable swing handle. Perforation pattern supports front-to-rear airflow for rack-mounted equipment cooling.
          Split Perforated Rear Doors Two-panel split rear doors (left-hand and right-hand) with lockable swing handles. Split configuration allows rear access in constrained aisle environments without full-swing clearance.
          Lockable Side Panels Quick-release side panels with integrated locks. Removable for adjacent-cabinet access during installation or maintenance, securable for production environments. CB4KSV-214848 ships with split side panels.
          Universal Accessory Channel / VCM Full-height UAC/VCM channel (6″ wide) supporting PDU mounting, vertical cable management accessories, and other toolless-mount components. Runs the full usable height of the cabinet. CB4KSV-214242 ships with 2 UAC/VCM units; all other models ship with 1.
          Top Cover with Fan Cutouts Solid steel top cover with four 6″ fan cutouts (cover plates included) plus two 6″ × 12″ top cover plates. Supports top-of-rack exhaust fan installation and cable entry routing.
          Levelling Feet Four industrial levelling feet (1/2″-13 thread, steel base) for floor alignment on uneven surfaces. Supplied by Ohio Nut & Bolt (FH 4440).
          3,000 lb Static Load Capacity Rated for 3,000 lbs of static equipment load across all nine configurations. The 42RU × 42″D model (CB4KSV-214242) additionally supports 2,000 lbs with optional casters.
          CSA Certification Every configuration certified to CSA C22.2 No. 70950-1. Designed to EIA/ECA-310-E rack mounting standard and TIA-942 data center infrastructure standards.

          Configuration Options

          OPTION DETAIL
          Door Alternatives Solid steel, louvered, acrylic (viewing window), and custom door configurations available for front and rear positions. Door selection determines the airflow-vs-security balance for each deployment environment.
          Side Panel Alternatives Perforated, louvered, and custom side panels available as alternatives to standard solid panels. Perforated panels support supplemental side-entry airflow in high-density or non-containment deployments.
          Depth Configurations Standard depths: 36″, 42″, 48″ (see Available Configurations table). Also available in 30″ depth for space-constrained environments. Custom depths engineered on request.
          Caster Option Optional caster plates with 3″ (76 mm) pivoting casters (Faultless 25330). Load capacity reduces to 2,000 lbs when caster-mounted. Documented on the 42RU × 42″D configuration (CB4KSV-214242); contact sales for other models.
          Thermal Management Optional top-mount exhaust fans (four 6″ positions pre-cut), hot air chimney configuration via removable rear top cover plate, and compatibility with Electron Metal aisle containment systems.
          Power Distribution Universal accessory channel accepts vertical-mount PDUs. Compatible with Electron Metal power distribution accessories for metered, switched, and basic power configurations.
          Finish Colors Textured powder coat in Black (-BK), White (-WH), or Grey (-GY). Custom colors available on request.
