      Electron Metal Colocation Cabinets are fully welded, 14-gauge cold rolled steel enclosures engineered for multi-tenant data center environments. Each cabinet is divided into independently lockable sections—available in 1, 2, 3, 4, or 8-section configurations—allowing colocation providers to allocate dedicated rack space per tenant within a single 24″ frame. Standard configurations ship as 44RU (83″ overall height) with 42″ depth. Total RU capacity ranges from 42RU to 52RU across available frame sizes. Rated for 3,000 lb static load capacity (CBC1K4, CBC2K4, CBC4K4). All cabinets ship fully assembled with a 10-year warranty and are manufactured in Laval, Quebec.

          Electron Metal Colocation Cabinets are fully welded, 14-gauge cold rolled steel enclosures engineered for multi-tenant data center environments. Each cabinet is divided into independently lockable sections—available in 1, 2, 3, 4, or 8-section configurations—allowing colocation providers to allocate dedicated rack space per tenant within a single 24″ frame.           Configuration flexibility supports multiple section layouts: a single 44RU open bay, two 21RU sections, four 10RU sections, or eight 4RU sections—each with independent combination locks and override keys. Width (24″ standard; 30″ and custom widths available) and depth (36″ to 48″) are configurable per order. Perforated, solid, louvered, and custom door and side panel options allow airflow tuning per deployment. Integrated vertical cable management, PDU support channels with cable drops, and 19″ EIA-310 mounting rails (cage-nut or tapped) are included across all models. Non-standard configurations are available on request.

          FEATURE ENGINEERING DETAIL
          Fully Welded 14-Gauge Frame Cold rolled steel construction. Single-piece welded frame eliminates bolted joints for structural rigidity and tamper resistance in shared environments.
          Independently Lockable Sections Each tenant section has its own front and rear doors with combination locks and override keys. Section counts: 1 (44RU), 2 (21RU each), 3, 4 (10RU each), or 8 (4RU each).
          19″ EIA-310 Mounting Rails Four vertical mounting rails per section, adjustable front-to-back (CBC1K4, CBC2K4, CBC4K4). 2.25″ wide cage-nut style with 10-32 thread. CBC8KT uses fixed-position rails.
          Perforated Front & Rear Doors Split perforated rear doors (left/right halves) and perforated front doors provide front-to-back airflow per section without compromising security.
          Vertical Cable Management Full-height vertical cable management channels (12″ wide) on both sides of the cabinet interior, routed behind the mounting rail plane.
          PDU Support & Cable Drops Dedicated PDU support brackets on left and right sides with front and rear cable drops for power cord routing (CBC2K4, CBC4K4). CBC8KT includes two AC power strips (20A lower, 12A upper).
          Lockable Side Panels Full-height side panels with locks. Split side panels on multi-section models (CBC2K4, CBC4K4, CBC8KT) for individual panel removal.
          Top Cover Colocation-specific top cover (21″ × 42″) with ventilation provisions.
          Cage-Nuts & Mounting Hardware Shipped loose per section: 10-32 cage-nuts and 10-32 × 5/8″ screws. Quantities vary by model (50 per section for CBC1K4; 24–26 per section for multi-section models).
          Steel Levelling Feet Four 1/2-13 thread steel base levellers per cabinet for floor alignment. CBC8KT uses neoprene-base slotted levellers.
          Textured Powder Coat Finish Factory-applied textured powder coat. Available in black (-BK), white (-WH), and grey (-GY).
          Ships Fully Assembled Complete cabinet with all doors, panels, rails, cable management, and hardware installed. Ready for equipment loading on delivery.
