A Consolidation Point Enclosure is designed to add flexibility to a structured cabling system. It provides the ability to quickly configure and make changes to your horizontal infrastructure without the requirement to completely rewire your horizontal network.
Consolidation Point Enclosures can be mounted in or on suspended ceilings, supported on concrete slabs or metal decks, mounted on walls or below raised floors.
By utilizing CP’s in a horizontal cabling infrastructure, it allows for; quick moves, adds or changes (MAC) to your modular office furniture systems while reducing costs and lowering downtime during future installations. By installing Consolidation Point enclosures in the horizontal cable runs near the workstations they serve, they reduce the need to replace entire horizontal cable runs during MAC work right back to the Telecommunications Room.
Electron Metal manufactures Consolidation Point Enclosures to meet the needs of our customers and can include copper to copper or fibre to copper (PON) infrastructures. We can design solutions for passive or active solutions with either; ceiling or wall mounting or underfloor installations with multiple back plate solutions to support many manufactures patch panels, 110 or BIX mounts as well as for Fibre PON solutions.
